Great American Teach In - November 18, 2009

Home Sweet Home Animal Rescue of Tampa Bay (HSHAR) was a participant in the Great American Teach In (GATI) on November 18, 2009 at Moon Lake Elementary School in New Port Richey, Florida. The purpose of this program is to expose children to the many different career choices that life has to offer.

We told stories of animals that we have rescued in many different situations from hurricanes to animal hoarding raids. We discussed conservation, wildlife and domesticated animals. It was a very productive and enlightening day for both the children and HSHAR.
